Ways to Support KSDA
Established in 1988, the Kentucky Search Dog Association (KSDA), is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our expenses are covered by the individual members and annual dues that each member pays. Our certified dog handlers pay their own expenses when serving state and local police as well as county and state emergency officials. These expenses include transportation costs, food, motels, canine and human gear (radios, harnesses, GPS collars, etc.), and all expenses associated with 100s hours of training. Some handlers must use vacation days from work to deploy or close their businesses to take part in searches.
